What to Expect…

Ahead of you is a full weekend of sewing in beautiful surroundings with overnight accommodation and meals included! There will be plenty of time to work on the project of your own choice. Maybe you are already working on something and just need a little time, encouragement, and help? Or perhaps you have a new project in mind and need a hand getting started? You will have your own worktable and we will arrange additional tables for cutting out and pinning etc.

Whatever you choose to work on, you will be able to go at your own pace and just enjoy the buzz of a fun sewing bee..!

Over the weekend you will be able to make new friends with like-minded sewers. Check out what others are working on and pick up ideas from each other.

Barry, our tutor, will be on-hand to help and share some of his tips and tricks to help you along. With over 40 years’ experience, this is an opportunity not to be missed! He will also be providing group demonstrations with handouts throughout the weekend.

 

What to bring…

Please bring along everything you may need for your project. Pattern/Fabric/Sewing Kit/Sewing Machine etc.

We will have overlockers, ironing boards, irons, pressing hams and clappers available for use when needed.

We will have a pop-up shop available for you to purchase essentials if needed. The pop-up shop will stock various haberdashery items (machine needles, threads, pins etc) and a selection of interfacings.
